    So I just finished baking these and I was surprised to see that they rose just fine In fact maybe a little bit too much. I had to use instant yeast as I did not have the active dry yeast. I'm not sure that that's why they rose so high but I followed your instructions to a T and by the way I did use one tablespoon of milk in the egg wash mixture. I'm only concerned that maybe I didn't need them enough but they look good. One other thing Is that they didn't quite brown as much as yours did and I had to leave them in my oven for at least 16 minutes before they would get to this very light golden brown color and I used egg yolk and milk as you said so I'm not sure why that happened.

    It's amazing to me that the internet has been around now since 1993, but that's 31 years for anyone too lazy to do the math. In all that time you'd think somebody would have posted something to explain to me why this recipe is possible. How you could make hamburger buns with hardly any rising of the dough and have them come out that perfect? Besides that what's also irritating is that the author doesn't explain at all why this works when every other hamburger bun recipe says you have to let them rise a couple of times. Because of this I'm very hesitant to try this recipe. I do not want to be wasting flour and other ingredients just to fail. Also just a tip it's really important for new bakers to be able to see the total step for kneading the dough.

    I baked them at 180 F the first time on accident. Let me tell you, that is not hot nor long enough for it to do anything at that temperature. 180 C is 356 F.

    We made this one too! We added our traditional extra sugar and herbs and bought a bigger loaf tin, that would fit in our ninja speedi. We baked it on the steam and bake setting and it came out looking like some amazing artisan bread, when I showed my sisters, they started placing mock bets on it, it got up £3.00! lol. Thank you so much for your consistently amazingly simple recipes, you are a very talented person. I also left a shameless plug for your smaller loaf on amazon, saying I got the recipe from your channel and added pictures, give credit where it due hey!🤗

      Thanks! You can add 1 tsp baking soda + 1 tbsp vinegar and then use your cleaning brush. This is the technique I use 🤗

      We tried this one, though it melted a bit i'm not sure if it will turn into water consistency coz we didn't wait that long to dip our frozen strawberry and boom it hardens very quickly 🤣

      Yes, you can but you need to keep it in the fridge overnight and then remove it from the fridge in the morning, keep it at room temperature half an hour and then bake it until done! Merry Christmas! 🎄🤗🎅
